Bears benefit should be super

The event benefits the United Relief Foundation, a Mount Prospect based, not-for-profit  humanitarian aid organization which provides hope and help to ease human suffering within the United States.

The public is invited to the Go-Bears Super Bowl Benefit and can attend at anytime after the buffet starts at 4 p.m. The buffet continues through the entire game between the Bears and Colts, and ending an hour after the final whistle.

Smoking is still allowed in Mount Prospect and Ye Olde Town Inn will have designated non-smoking and family areas complete with televisions, table seating, food buffet and beverage service.

With Ye Olde Town Inn’s WiFreeZone, free high-speed wireless Internet, anyone bringing in a laptop can create their individual private seating and still be part of the fun and enjoy the food.

Super Bowl domestic draft beer specials include $1.50 glasses, $2.50 pints and $7 pitchers. Soft drink specials, giveaways and raffles will be offered.

Money raised from the Go-Bears Conference and Super Bowl benefit will be used for the United Relief Foundation’s A Child's Sweet Smile program providing help to troubled children and children who are suffering from major health related issues in the Chicago area; and a portion of the proceeds will be used for the Foundation’s Save Pass Christian effort in rebuilding the Mississippi’s Gulf coast city’s fire fighters’ and police officers’ homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
